Documents Required for US Visitor Visa (B1/B2)

Original Passport valid for at least 6 dddmonths from your intended date of travel, with a minimum of 3 blank visa pages. Please include all previous passports, if available.
Printed copy of the DS-160 Confirmation Page.
US Visa Appointment Confirmation Letter.
US Visa Fee (MRV) Payment Receipt.
Two recent passport-size colour photographs meeting the official US visa photo specifications.
Personal Cover Letter stating the purpose of your visit:
Salaried Applicants: Cover letter on plain paper.
Self-Employed Applicants: Cover letter on company letterhead.
Original Bank Statement for the last 6 months, updated and showing sufficient funds for your travel.
Income Tax Returns (ITR) or Form 16 for the last 3 financial years.
Additional Financial Documents (recommended), including:
Fixed Deposit (FD) certificates
Property ownership documents
Recurring Deposit (RD) statements
Investment proofs (Mutual Funds, Shares, Bonds, etc.)
Any other documents that demonstrate your financial strength.
Note

Ensure that all documents are genuine, complete, and up to date before submitting your application or attending the visa interview. While supporting financial documents are not mandatory, they are highly recommended as they help establish your financial stability and strengthen your visa application. Carry both the original documents and photocopies wherever applicable.
